KCL started in 2009 when two stay-at-home moms decided to cut their grocery bill through couponing. Then they decided to blog about it. We’ve been enabling smart people to live like rich people ever since.
We are a multi-million dollar company with a passion for helping families earn and save money in every way thinkable.
KCL is seeking a senior software engineer to provide technical and product leadership to our growing team. We are looking for someone who can add value across a wide range of technical domains: Node.js Lambda, AngularJS front-end, iOS native, Android Ionic, Redshift SQL and analytics. You will coach other developers and help ensure code and product quality across these technical domains.
Our stack is all-in on AWS. Our three platforms (web, iOS native, Android hybrid) connect to an API layer built on AWS API Gateway and backed by Lambda micro-services written in JS. Our read-only content is in ElasticSearch and user data in DynamoDB. We have made great progress on getting all our data into Redshift using a variety of ETL tools (AWS Data Pipeline, Kinesis, Firehose, S3). We evaluate new tech and services constantly, if they give us a competitive advantage we’ll adopt and deploy quickly and send devs to AWS re:invent each year.
We have a lean and iterative development process where we deploy code often. KCL is looking for a motivated developer who can work efficiently both independently and collaboratively, who is passionate about building products that delight our users.
The Krazy Coupon Lady is the nation's leading coupon aggregation site with hundreds of thousands of unique visitors every day. Our website and app enables smart people to live like rich people by helping them find the best deals across the country in grocery stores, big-box retailers, and online. We have built a unique company culture that combines a fun-loving atmosphere with a high-performance and creative team environment.
KCL values transparency, innovation, and generosity. There are frequent opportunities to be involved serving the Boise community and making a difference.
